If a shirt is normally 26.99 and is now on sale for 20.99 and you buy it because of the sale price, you didn’t save $6. You spent $21. Sales are attractive and convince us to buy when we aren’t planning on it. That is why so many businesses use them! The only reason you should be buying things on sale is because it’s something you would be buying anyway and it will save you money in the long run to stock up now.
