2) Jesus Apostles Taught the Importance of Liberty
The Apostle Paul, one of the most important and influential men ever to walk the face of the earth, believed that Jesus was the source and power that makes freedom possible for humanity — instructing the early Christians in Galatia to stand fast within the liberty Christ had already provided and never again be tangled up in the oppression and slavery of the Law.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. – Galatians 5:1
